I bought a Tekonksha P2 and Toyota adapter cable. The instructions say there is a 5 pin connector taped to another cable that is open you plug the cable into. Anyone have any tips on where to locate it?

Interesting. I wonder where it terminates in the rear? IIRC the trailer harness doesn't have any spare pairs.

Thanks Hoser, those are pretty straight forward. Even I could follow them. Not sure why it didn't come up in a search

Will need it to pull the Karavan when it gets here from Australia. The bottom picture is Brad from Arizona pulling the first Karavan in the US. I will have number 4

I don't want to ask but I will. How much is that trailer delivered to tucson phoenix area?

With the AUD the way it is, about $50K. It was $85K when the other two bought one. I didn't want to spend anywhere near that, but seemed like a once in a life time type deal, $35K off

@Romer I just did this last week. Here is the post with a couple of pics to assist - Installing a Tekonsha 3040-P wiring harness in a 100

Thanks!

C'mon lotto!

Both sets of instructions were great and let me know exactly where the connector was. I didn't have to take anything apart. I felt around for it. Pulled it out far enough to verify. Mated it up and installed the cable. The install took me about 15 minutes.

Been meaning to post this. The power wire in the harness had no juice. I could track it down or just run another wire to the Fuse. The fuse is in the engine bay, a 30AMP titled Towing Brake- It is what the EDW shows wired to the Brake controller cable. I drilled a small hole in the box and used one of these taps to tie into the fuse it was suppose to come from

I had to do some research because this is always hot and I was expecting switched power. The research showed it is suppose to be always hot and the Prodigy goes into sleep mode in a few minutes if no trailer is connected
