When I was working on mine, I found a thread that indicated that a Chevy spring was a viable replacement. My search foo isn't coming up with it, but if I recall correctly the Chevy springs were still available.NVM just saw your first post and thought your second post was your first
dont think that was available anylonger... check used section..... post in wanted section.... find a suitable öther"manufacturer for the spring.... like old chevy I6 ones or willys afaik

@JohnnyC - thanks! The mechanism moves freely, and I think I sourced all but the thermal bi-metal spring from a Japanese Toyota site. Will post what I find here.NVM just saw your first post and thought your second post was your first

@MatthewMcD - thanks! I was able to source all but the thermal bi-metal spring from a Japanese Toyota site. The Willy's spring looks like the way to go. I'll post an update once I get it all sorted.
Here are two sites for the parts for this valve - Manifold for Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40L - Genuine parts - Amayama - https://www.amayama.com/en/genuine-catalogs/epc/toyota-usa/land_cruiser/FJ40L/2339/engine/1701 and MANIFOLD / toyota | part list|JP-CarParts.com - https://jp-carparts.com/toyota/partlist.php?maker=toyota&type=791110&cartype=2&fig=1701. The first one has the parts I need except for the thermal spring and counter weight stop. The second site has everything listed but only by inquiry.@MatthewMcD - thanks!
