Exhaust leak, what is this part called? (1 Viewer)

Sorry for the old thread resuscitation.

I just now got the j pipe separated to replace the gasket, my question is do I have the right part? The original on my truck is pretty much disintegrated. All the diagrams I see seem to show a gasket with a round opening. On the part I received (9 months ago) it is not round. Can anyone who has replaced this thing offer some insight. It seems the part is now listed as NLA just to make life complete View attachment 1314193

that gasket looks like the one that attaches the EGR input to the intake manifold under the carb

Part is incorrect. Yes, center hole is round. I used the SOR gasket - it worked fine. I think it is graphite. Buy two as @Output Shaft said in case you mess one up...like I did.

That EGR inlet gasket is still available from Toyota. I bought one two last week.

Thanks for all the replies. Will call the local stealership and see if they have them in stock and buy a couple if they do. I probably have to change out the nuts also. Will likely do the stainless as recommended earlier in the thread.

If you do a full de-smog, all of these associated headaches are alleviated, correct?

I use the remflex gasket and it works great
