exhaust condensation

how much condensation is considered normal in exhaust?

I have a leak halfway back, under the passenger side rear door, that is leaving puddles of water (I smelled it and it is clear and odorless). realizing that the exhaust will need some work- the area of the leak has some rough looking welds on it right now- is there possibly a bigger problem? checked the radiator, and the coolant level has not gone down (havent added any coolant to it in months).
