The DIY version is what I would wantI'll have to let Luke answer the pricing details since he doesn't have it listed on his website and I bought a DIY version
Yes, ordering rear output seal, bearing, and FIPG from Beno Friday and hope to have it done the following weekend. You can leave the TC in place to do it and after reading some other PT threads and already tackling the VC myself earlier I think it should be pretty straight forward. No not yet but i need to! You installing it yourself?
The bearing off the spool was the one I was going to have on hand just in case, rear output seal is OK but since I'm at 180K and will have it apart it made sense to do it.You don't need to touch your rear output shaft seal or bearing to put the spool in, but if you need to replace them now would be the time.

Where are you located? I placed an order couple weeks ago and haven't recieved it yet.
I assume you are talking about this bearing that you remove from the rear half of the center diff and press onto the new spool? I have a fancy bearing puller and shop press so it was all of 5 mins to swap over, but you are right. Having a spare bearing on hand would be good insurance, or would save you from having to remove from the center diff.
Did I miss something? Are you not factory locked?
