I am ready to pull the trigger on a set of EvoCorse Dakazero wheels for my 2015 LX 570. I am currently riding on the factory 20” wheels.

My question is which size I should go with. They offer a 17”x8” or a 18”x8.5”. I would like for the wheel to stick out a little further than the factory wheel to be close to even with the edge of the fender. Also not sure what would be the largest tire size without trimming needed

I looked on the tire and wheel database and the Evocorse wheel is not listed.

I like this look

17" tires will have more sidewall, which if you dirt is a great investment. 17" tire+wheel will be lighter than 18" tire + wheel. More 17" tire sizes and they are also generally less expensive. If you are already investing in new wheels I'd suggest 17" for sure.

Run a 1.25 inch spacer. The +40 offset on the Evos don't give much to stick out over OEM (20mm since OEM is 60mm offset). 17 inch vs 18 inch, that's up for you to decide if you want more wheel or more rubber.

Or you could run the 0 offset 17 inch Evo Corses which are available for the 200, if you want to stick out from fender.

Won’t I have rubbing with a 0 offset? I like the idea of using a spacer to allow the wheel to stick out a bit more than the factory wheel

The Evo Corse come in more than one offset, if I remember correctly. I think you can order a +25, or +40.

I’m pretty sure Mainline Overland will have the wheels built to whatever offset you specify.

the question is how long does it take?

I run the 40 offset 17". I had to remove my front-of-tire mud flap and get a teensy bit of rub in full lock in reverse with the plastic liner at the front of the driver's side wheel well. It's dissipated as the tire has worn a bit and not enough to bother me or cause an issue. I also have the Tough Dog suspension set up which give me nearly 2" of lift.

What size tire are you running ?

The specs on the 18" Evo course wheels aren't superior enough to the stock 18s found on Land Cruisers and Tundras to justify the cost. I'd go 17, or find a set of 18" tundra rims you like for less than the cost of one Evo Course and rock those. This is of course my opinion, others may see it diffently. 17" opens up a lot more tire sizes, and also will save you significant money each time you buy tires.

X2. Especially when spending $1600 on a set of wheels Evo Corses are cast Aluminum alloy and heat treated, like every other aluminum wheels out there.

$400/corner, and if I had the money, I'd be wanting to getting into forged wheel territory for a marginal bit extra $.

Nice looking wheels though

Seems like most aftermarket wheels have a weight rating around 2,500 lbs which is on the low end for land cruisers if that concerns you. Evo corse do have one of the highest weight ratings at 1500kgs (3,300lbs) for an alloy wheel. Rock warriors I am sure have them beat being that they forged.
