I’m having issues with my front install, I can’t quite figure out how to route the straps underneath the seat and keep full seat movement. For some reason I keep losing the up/down movement of the seat, the straps are binding up somewhere limiting movement.

Any ideas?

Hmmm. Are they snagging on anything? Is the problem mirrored with both front seats? Maybe a photo of your strap routing may help diagnose the issue.

Might be worth a call to Equipt’s tech line.

All the wires under the seat should be below the straps. The straps should be right against the bottom of the seat. Make sure the tails aren’t jammed in the seat track or any other spot.

I did mine outside with the doors open to get max light under the seat.

Not snagging on anything and I only attempted the front passenger. On my next attempt I’ll get some pictures if I end up with the same issue.

I may call Equipt anyway because these have an additional strap that’s not covered in their installation video.

Ok, I did not run the straps under all the cabling… I will route the straps as close to the seats as possible.

After contemplating this for a while I believe I ran the seat belt buckle strap incorrectly as well, it went under the seat track.

At least the back seats went on easy and those are my main concern because of the kiddos.

That extra strap may go to a connector on the side of the seat. Outside of the seat. I remember an extra as well. I think I connected it to a side buckle.

It’s actually a loop with its own buckle. I’m guessing it loops over something under the seat for additional tautness for the seat portion of the cover.
