As @pjohnson stated above, your intended use as well as other changes like tire size will have a lot to do with it. Oh, and by the way..........post some pictures or your 40 doesn't exist ;)
I just uploaded some pictures, go check them out

FYI, when you post as a reply or otherwise, everyone can see it. No need to repeat yourself.

You can do multi-quote in a reply also.

Okee Dokee, I could hook you up with the motor mounts, but you'd have to get the TH350 adapter from Advance Adapters.

I drooled over your 40 in your other thread!!

But, I didn’t realize you were still in high school at age 50... perhaps you’re spending more time on your 40 than on your studies.;)

Maybe dadio is the 50 guy :)

Since your going MOD on the rig ... and have your heart on the 350... as others had said get the rest of the truck in order first especially if your going to be DDing it

You WILL want to address your brakes if your going 350

Get a booster and dual master

4wheel disc

You will need to save your 9 lives for all the stupid stuff you’ll be doing in college ... as of right now I am guite carful with things I do ... my college years (younger years) were a blast :meh:

yeah, after talking to you guys, and my dad im gonna stick with the 1f for now, and just get everything in check for a eventual swap, considering the 1f only has only about 40,000 miles

40k is a nice low miles engine ... I went 440,000 on my 74’ F ... I waited 20 years for it to die... it never did ... it just got slow(er) :meh:

Replaced it with another 74F.5 .... I’m good for 40+ more years now :)
