Engine rattle at start up (1 Viewer)

Need help identifying slight engine right at beginning of start up that rapidly disapears once running. Any ideas? Anything life threatening? 95 FZJ80 Stock.

I can't explain it but my startup rattle dissapeared the day i reshimmed the valves. It's been gone since then.

Does it happen when its cold outside or warm outside??

Make sure you are using a Toyota or high quility Oil filter that has a "baffle" in it. This noise is most likey do to all your oil setting in the oil pan.

I second the guess of a cheap aftermarket oil filter.
