To those that have done the sbc conversion, what engine mounts did you use?
The new rig I bought utilizes the stock (toyota) motor mounts and a bracket to the front of the engine.
I am going with Saginaw power steering so this won't work for my application.
I have seen the advance adapters setup. What other options are there?

Check out Man A-FRE and Downey off road they both offer mortor mounts. They are all basiclly the same other than what you have (old style Downey was like that)

That's a nice mount.

I've got the AA kit. It has studs for the rear mount (on the Tcase), which work better than bolts. Also the crossmember is one piece. I had the the one with the hole in it that you needed another gasket and the cover for and it loosened up and leaked every couple of weeks.

Texican, those mounts are beautiful. I have never liked the AA design. $130 is worth it to use stock motor mounts.
