Is it a consistent problem, meaning everytime you drive it it reacts this way?
Does it idle alright?
An older truck of mine would idle inconsistently. Sometimes like a top and other times I had to feather the pedal to keep it running. Not the safest thing to do.
For the longest time I thought it was some debris occasionally occluding a jet. Turned out to be severely out of adjustment. I lived with this for three months. My brother found the solution after he got the truck.
