love the diamond stitch pattern and the shade of the new brown in the new pics. very much akin to the london tan color and pattern from Jag, at least the way it looks like in the pics. Wonder if they will offer that pattern here in the US for the 3 row heritage?? I am waiting for the build option to pop up on toyota's website.

No. They will not. Why would Toyota offer ultra lux leather on a "Heritage" where the current Heritage has cheaper leather than the current base. I don't see how a diamond stitch pattern is "Heritage." Toyota's offerings in the US have gotten slimmer and slimmer. Eliminated gray and tan as interior colors. Eliminated actual white (current white is actually an off white metallic), mid blue, dark blue, dark green, and dark red at exterior colors. All since the 200 started. It has been scaled back more and more.

Ironic that fuel efficiency ratings are even shown on the window sticker on the Middle East spec. Figure each one of these comes with a lease of an oil well over there 😁😁

2017/2018 was when we first got the quilted seats on the Black and white edition VX.R.

In 2019 it returned again but on the lower grade GX.R (without the cooled seats)
Toyota refers to it as nubuck
Available in terra, beige and a the new lighter tan shade pictured below.

Our 2021 LX is getting a new interior color (light tan shade) + new green color (6x4).
Not sure of any other updates yet as it hasn't arrived yet.

We've basically been getting updates every year for the LC200/LX.

Apologies to OP for going off topic.

@Brown98LC ...mann... u guys sure have some nice interior trims out there..... we can only wish here stateside. but then, toyota probably sells a heck of a lot more of these there.. so it makes sense.

Gonna need info on that fire extinguisher mount. Far better placement than the cruise missles people mount in their trucks.

This is how they come fitted from Japan on our Qatari spec cruisers. I understand some other GCC countries have it fitted elsewhere.

Toyota also has a different floor mat to suit the vehicles with the fire extinguisher fitted in this location.

First aid kit is also fitted with all sorts of Japanese goodies. Wonder if the newer ones have facemasks too.

Any chance you can pull part number from ME spec cruiser parts diagram? Curious if you could get something like this on PartsOQ.

2016+ 5.7L came with 8 speed AT right? 5.7L also calls for 5W30 oil??

It must be so cool to live in a place where Cruisers are the F150s of the road. Probably easy to find really qualified mechanics too!!

I wish Toyota would give us a manual transmission option
You and maybe three other people that could actually pay for one, which is one reason they won’t do it.
The other is the abysmal emissions it would get when mated with the 5.7.

Do they offer a manual behind the 5.7 in any markets at all?

I wish we could get that beige interior in the US. However, as I understand it, the Toyota USA executives only order 2 colors- black and terra. So, even though that interior color exists and could easily be shipped to the US, it isn't an option for us. It can't even be custom ordered.

I would be willing to take an engine change to get the manual transmission. I do like my 5.7 power though. I would take lower trim level manual for me with cloth and leave the GF in the loaded up version. I like the quilted seats as well. I think they would sell more Land Cruisers if they offered a lower cost option. cloth seats and lower level trim. What the 100's call the poverty pack.

I’m glad I bought my 2015 LX 570 personal choice exterior is the best looking LX model will be my last vehicle I need to buy since I’m 71 years old and have less than 50,000 miles on it and only drive around 5000 miles a year😳 This baby will out last me three times over. But isn’t that why we buy these vehicles for their quality, reliability and longevity💪

Wish we could get those wheels on the LX here in the states

speaking of wishes - either the striped or the perforated quilted tan interior with diamond stitching for me please... not gonna happen though!!!

Ok, now you’re just teasing us here in the US. I just placed my order for a 200 series and the interior, especially the color and the seats, made for the most agonizing decision as I’m not crazy about either of our choices.

Yah, we don't get that in the US. :(

Wonder if you can order "replacement seats" in the middle east and send them back to the US? I'd assume they'd just be plug and play

I wonder if they are made as well or made to last like what we get. Watching some of the IG posts that come out of the Middle East it appears as if they go through cars weekly, severe abuse and tomfoolery taking part regularly.

Maybe I'll find one that someone jumped off a dune and totaled. Rip the seats out and send em home.
