So we're looking at 150 bucks plus dock fees to get a basic top here. I assume after that you will have your own charges for UPS or what not, correct?
And you're gonna need that soon, correct, once you finalize.

Also let us know on the Paypal fees, as I know I have not made good on that yet, probably pick it up at the end of it all, once you have everything shipped and we are done, that way it will cover all the cost, if you can swing it, if not let us know either way.

THANX SouthBostonFJ and EHSAN for all your hard work in making this happen.. I LOVE my Ehsan soft top i got last fall.. although i would suggest to everyone out here getting a top to MAKE SURE to treat the canvas ASAP because they do fade in color rather quickly without treatment.. here's mine.. had it on since FALL..
although i still think it looks good faded.. i'm going to re dye it before i treat it as SOON as i have the time.

I DD mine and my rig is outside 100% of the time...i use the canvak ...find an old windex bottle...clean it out really good...put the canvak in and coat the top...watch the overspray around the windows.
i am assuming you do this while the top is on???

I have found that the Macguires Canvas Protectant remains effective for a long time. I'll probably apply one new coat per year to make sure the UV protection remains at full strength. What I like about it is that it is very light weight and does not affect the canvas in any way. While I've used Canvak and found it to work well, I was not happy with the weight and stiffness it added to the canvas. JMO.
Yes. Much easier to reach all the material and it help the treatment to penetrate the canvas due to it being stretched over the bows. It helps to mask off the windows with a low strength masking tape.
Below are the final air shipping charges from Pakistan and destination charges for handling and clearing the shipment though customs once it gets to the US.
My import broker has informed me that there is a chance that US Customs could hold the shipment for a day or two (or for as long as they feel like) to closely inspect it because of the shipping origin. If that happens, we could be charged a storage fee. It probably won’t happen, but it could, so I want everyone to be aware of it.

$35 for each bimini tops
$100 for a set of soft doors (half with canvas top and full)
$110 for an FJ45 soft top with bows

A few people have emailed me asking whether or not they paid the PayPal fee for the first round of money. Rather than emailing everyone individually, see the list below.
Add the amount in red to the shipping charges you owe, but don't forget to add the new PayPal fee to the shipping charge first.
Ex: You owe $19.88 in old fees and $150 in shipping charges =$169.88
Take the shipping charges, $150.00, add 2.9%+$.30 = $154.65
Add the old fees of $20.75($19.88+2.9%+$.30) to the $154.65= $175.40
When you send $175.40, the net amount of $170.01 ends up in the account. So I make $.13 on that transaction.
At the end, I will take all the extra pennies from this and buy myself a soda on you guys!
