Hi Bidge,

Can you please do us a fovor? Please put your trucks model and year in your signature line. That makes life much easier for us guys who want to help you.
I've checked all the diagrams I have for HJ's and BJ's after 1980 and all EDIC motors have R, Y, G and L wiring.
So please tell us your model and year and we can do a better search for you.

Greetings,

Rudi

It is a 1982 3b diesel dont know what its out of. It is 12v and has four wires which are red, white, green and yellow.

Is that the same engine from which you have that alternator problem?
Maybe it's not a truck engine but was used in a forklift or so.

Yes it is do you know if there is some way to tell what it came out of?

Sorry but no. I've read here on the forum several times that the 3B was also used in Toyota forklifts. That's all I know.

fey1 - I would be interested

Hi Fey

I would be interested in one of your creations- so long as it works and is reasonably priced and you do not mind shipping to the great white north (Canada)

right now my EDIC is on a toggle switch - ugg - I just got the 1987 HJ 60 a few mnths ago and this is one of the previous owners nightmare creations - I am thinking it is the relay that is blown but have not gotten to doing a complete analysis - anyhow I am just learning and at the bottom of the curve on this issue
