Hi All,
So my current problem with my 60 Landcruiser 2h Diesel is the EDIC control rod is not moving when i turn the key to on. Then when i crank the engine over, the control rod is still set to off. When i manually move the rod to on and turn the key the engine starts. I bought a second hand Fuel Control relay and did not fix the starting issue.
I have limited experience with 4x4 and after searching related threads, there are some discussion to have a manually bypass for the EDIC motor however it seems a bit complicated.
So i was wondering if i can use a simple idea where i can run cables through pulley and the firewall into the cabin. The idea is to have two cables, one to pull the rod to start and one to pull the rod to off to stop the engine. So the main question is what problem can this cause if i do this?
Regards
