I looked at the photo, you get what you pay for, in that regard it's definitely worth $49.95, probably worth $100.00?????

The welds look pretty nasty, but if it doesn't leak and you don't care what it looks like it could be a hell of a deal. I'm in the market for a new radiator myself to replace the one i've already repaired 3 or 4 times with solder and a torch (can't do that with aluminum) but I agree with Jim, this one looks pretty nasty.

you get what you pay for, i just used a gm 4core,cut the wheel wells out and made my own support

Howdy! It LOOKS pretty good, but it's nearly worth the price just in scrap value. It's almost too cheap. It would be interesting to see how it works. For that price it might be worth the gamble. I wonder if they make one for the FJ 55. I do worry about vendors that list their goodies as fitting 1970-1980 V-8s. Maybe they are just overwhelmed by the awsome power of the F/2F!!!! John

I'm tempted to pull the trigger.
Howdy! You might want to do a bit of GooGle research on the company. Check with the Better Business Bureau etc. but I don't think you can get hurt much for that kind of price. Especially for a direct bolt in. You can add a few other items to help with the cooling. I am a strong believer in the FlowCooler water pumps. I am running truck style pulleys to overdrive the water pump/fan by about 30% also. I don't know if that is available for the newer serpentine setups, but I know a machine shop locally that can make up any size pulley I need. Even though I don't run one, I do recommend a good shroud also. John

I bought one (it was 89.00 a few monthes ago, i guess I got taken) just to see.
I won't be running it in anything I'm proud of. I since bought a brass replacement instead.
The core is slightly smaller than stock so if you're in a warm climate I wouldn't use it on a V-8.
The material is lighter than a Howe, Griffin of Ron Davis, so carry a spare one off road.
Besides , it won't fit... the description says for the 4.2 V-8 that was oh so common in the early
70's FJ40

Inkpot is right about two things:
(1) The radiator is probably worth $49.95 to somebody, but perhaps not for your Toyota.
(2) Yep, I'm in awe of the overwhelming power of the F/2F engine. I've probably made a mistake building 5 or 6 Chevotas in a row!!!
Actually, guys call us all day long stating that their $200 Summit Alum Rad was not in the ball park, returned for a refund, and want to know the details on our pricey Alum Radiator.

Isn't the displacement they call out for the F (3.9 L) and 2F (4.2 L)? A 350 is 5.5 L. I think it's a sign of the engineering that was put into these babies. But the price is nice!

It looks like the same rad I bought from Classic Radiators on ebay. Paid more for it, but I haven't had any problems with it so far. But give me a few weeks when the temps get up and I'll let you know.
