I want to go to a narrow snow tire with studs this winter for my 96 LC. I have no problem buying narrower rims. Currently, the truck has original wheels and recommended tire size. I don't want to go to a smaller diameter; just narrower width. How narrow can I go, without altering the handling of the vehicle too much?

I know the new Goodyear duratrac can be studded see if they have a suitable size, they are also snow rated.
