Cool sounds like we have:

Meatball (me)
Adam (another adam)
Alex and wifey
Charity and hub (did i get that right?)

Possibly my neighbor rob (60 series)

Kevin (str8rocks)

Anybody else?

I'll be there.

Hopefully the doc that works in my building will be coming. He had a 40 growing up and just got a 2012 FJC, it took him two weeks before he put sliders on it. Trying to get him in the club and on the forum.

Just met a gentleman named ken today at Oreillys in havelock. He has a red 1974 40 and he should be joining us as well.

Geez should I have some kind of performance anxiety for my first meet and greet? Perhaps I should have my daughter buffing the valve cover all week!

Did you not see the pollen, dust and mud that encapsulated mine at the SCT show? If you want a show car, buy a 60 to keep neat or a Corvette like everybody else has. Only clean nuts, bolts, seats and grease fittings. Maybe tires if they're the kind that last more than 20k miles. Oh, and you're due this...:flipoff2:

how the heck do I rate that?? In my memory every single Toyota that was there was B-E-A-utiful..I was completely starry eyed at the show.

Besides...in my house we call :flipoff2: a 'jeep salute' :D

Well i get mine back tomorrow! First day driving the forty in 10 years!

YES!!! What did the mechanic end up doing? Have you ordered suspension yet?

You are going to have to post up some pictures in your crockpot thread of how that steering linkage looks.
