As Mace mentioned lotsa torque on that bracket, never seen one so highly mounted?

To metion, nice brackets and welding.

Thanks for the input on my axle upper links. I will give it some thought to try to make those mounts beefier. I could always make two more identicle sets of mounting plates and weld them to the outside of the existing brackets. Then I would only need longer bolts. Any ideas?

JRFJ4- my uppers and lowers are 1-3/4 x 1/4 wall DOM

Ouch!!!! I accidentally deleted all of the images from this thread. My account reached it's limit for image storage. It will take too much time to begin reloading all of those images but I will be sure to update this thread with fresh pics as they become available. Sorry guys

I am starting to spend some time researching transfer case options for this project. I plan to keep the TH 350 and 4:11's and am trying to narrow up the details on other potential transfer cases. What options do you guys think would work well and why.
1) I have an NP 205. Can it be beefed and gearing changed?
2) Stak 2 or 3 speed case?
3) Atlas 5.0
4) Upgraded D300?

School me on your experiences. I will start making calls this week to learn as much as possible about all of these options. Thanks guys

Hey There, I don't think you can run the low max gears in the TH350 version of the 205. Also, check the stock coupler, they strip out really easilly and will leave you stranded (don't ask me how I know  )

Get an atlas, like Nolen said, for wheeling you need the gears. By the time you mess with finding and rebuilding a D300, buying the gears and doing the HD rear output and or change the rear yoke for a CV, you could have almost bought an atlas that's brand new. Call Vic at Adanced Adapters.

If you want to sell the 205 and the adapter I might be interested in buying it for a spare part. I don't wheel hardcore so I don't need the gears. 77FJ40@cox.net

What do you guys think I should run for spring rates on the rear coilovers? I was thinking 175/225 or 175/250. Any thoughts? Also,I will post a link to a photo album of all the full sized pics of this build very soon.

New pics at the new shop. I can't wait to set these barns up as my new shop. Having a ton of space to layout and work from will help speed this project up.
