Well it looks like I found a very complete F135 engine air cleaner and all...all I need is to get it shipped here and go through it.

 Old F's rule.

ohh the old.. I lost my top on I-70 between Manhattan and Hays.. I lost the top on my 45 in the same stretch.. Chef lost a soft top completely gone.. It's brutal on that stretch.. WE now just drop all tops down and lower the windshield and go.

There was a corregated top at a yard here in denver... that is if you don't find your top on the way back out here :)

I'm trying to do some checking to see what years the fiberglass will interchange with a 1962...if a later fiberglass top piece will work I will go with that for now and keep looking for the early more rounded top piece.

Don

The fiberglass from the later tops will not interchange with the earlier tops. The later tops are a little shorter. In mid 1965 the tops changes. I've seen both regular and corregated tops from 1965.

Toy Teacher,

If your deal on a stock F motor falls through let me know. I have a '66 FJ45 F that I wanna pull for a 2F. I'm located about 45 miles west of Cincinnati in IN and can deliver. I'm currently in NJ picking stuff up. If Cruiser Nerd has any parts you need I can pickup and deliver those too.

Nice early Cruiser!

Not Topless Anymore

Well I'm not topless anymore :grinpimp: Again thanks Jim, and can you believe ONLY 3 bolts broke off taking it off the sides.. Also thanks Nick for the delivery:).

This one will probably have to go away this summer (as in part it out and dispose of the carcass). Give me a wish list and if it's not something I need we can work something out. :D

The top didn't fly off this one.............but it did leave a 200 mile trail of oil and bad gas. :D
That cruiser still have the plastic taillight protectors on it by any chance?;)
