Early 80's with lockers?

All Landcruisers are imported from Japan
Is your's a JDM import? Where are you located? And how did you get it? :???:

My curiser is a JDM import -=- but down here in New Zealand, just about every car is So we get a large number of model that are very high spec or even the very cut down models (seen a number with no sunroof, manual windows, no aircon, and the most shocking - no coolerbox or heated seats ) Its very rare to see any cruisers that are petrol.

as far as comparing the early (fj80) to the 62s the early and any 80 series have the added bonus of a less expensive lifting and better ride but if you live anywhere near salt or in an area where they salt the roads the rust proofing on the 80 series is a huge difference. much much better than anythng I have seen on the 60's or 62's.
as low as the prices are getting on the fj80's I think they are a pretty good buy if you know what you are getting. they are not powerhouses and they will not win races but I love mine and plan to continue not worrying about my head gasket till 225-250,000 miles then the SBC will go in jsut fine.
