I wanted to thank the Mud community for the information I was able to pull on wheels and proper wheel backspacing and offset.
With that info I was able to select a wheel that had the proper fit for my FJ40. No spacers required. Tires are BFG 35x12.50x15
Wheels are Eagle Alloy style 186-15x8- 6 on 5.5 with 3.25" backspace
And we always love pictures:

Yes, those wheels have been turning up from time to time on some good looking rides.
Such as yours:cheers::cheers::cheers::beer::beer::beer:

Looks Good!

Thanks for the info. I had seen these before and never took the time to search for the specifics. I am about 90% sure that these are what will be going on my 40.

i run those on my truck as well with 35 KM2's- only issue i had was the little drum retaining screws had to come out to allow the wheel to sit flush..

gwalt, not sure if you have rear drums but if so did you run into this?

I think I left the drum retaining screw out after the rebuild, My tire guy did not say anything.
I am gonna convert the rear to disk next month.
Thanks
Gary

mine are the 058 actually..look damn close though

The o58 are very similiar. i looked at them and the I could only find them in 16" and the backspacing was not right.
Thanks
Gary

I have run these same wheels on mine for years, no spacers and fit great when I did my 60 series disc upgrade.

This FJ40 don't flex it just relaxes in the garage!! LOL.

I will when I get the carb and dizzy back in. I sent them to Jim C. today for him to do his magic. he says he is 4 weeks out. man that will be a long 4 weeks.
