dumb question

I was under my fj60 today changing fluids/ getting it ready for winter and noticed what apears to be a ground cable hangin off on the passenger side of the engine. Its attached to the frame but not to anything else. I've checked service books and can't seem to find our what its supposed to be connected to. Any ideas? thanks

My guess is that it is exactly what it looks like, a ground strap between engine and frame---not at all uncommon!!!

I figured it was a ground strap, I just cant figure out where it gets connected to.

Just attach it to any part of the frame that the cable will reach. Just a simple ground strap but a good idea to have it.
