^^ was just about to post that. Don't understand why all the wire pulling/cutting when you can program them from techstream.

Because only later years are that simple. No option in TechStream on my truck.

Removed the a3 red/blue wire from the plug at the drl relay under the hood without cutting, on my '07 today, took maybe 10 minutes, simple.

Bump on old thread... I tried cutting the 3A wire on the relay near the airbox on my 05 LC. No go, didn't work and I didn't see the connector under the steering wheel. So for 05-07 for sure (maybe back to 03) just use techstream to disable. Search for the techstream in 5 mins thread and buy a cheap amazon cable. Easy to turn off. Hope this helps someone. Took me 3 or 4 days to figure out my options to disable DRL on my 05.

@jim_crow had the good info that helped me get this done. Thank you!

I made the switch to LED bulbs and the DRL made things difficult for high beam bulbs. Did the switch mod and worked like a charm. I actually had to read the explanation 3 times to catch every word.

Need to find what wire to switch for an 07. I don’t want to permanently disable with techstream.
