Literally drove my 2019 570, six hours, to trade for a 2022 600. Both Luxury trims.

I had great sorrow parting with my 570 until about 15 minutes into driving the 600 back home. While the two models share the same basic shape, the 600 is a complete redesign otherwise, and you quickly notice.

The handling is almost car-like. It feels lighter, slightly smaller, quicker. It zooms. Reminds me a whole lot of our former Range Rover Sport.

The 600 interior is much improved. The cup holders aren’t snugged against all your knobs and controls, so hot coffee doesn’t get spilled into your electronics. The phone charger pad doesn’t cook your phone until it shuts off, and is conveniently located so you can see it and reach it. There’s no more annoying toggle. The heads up display is way easier to see. In the 570, you’re too tall to see it if you are 6’4.

Lots to explore tomorrow. This is the best vehicle I’ve ever driven and I have owned about everything made over my 40 years of driving.

Same here, traded my 200 in and quickly forgot about on my drive home with the 600. What an enormous difference.

Welcome to the club. The LX600 is my favorite vehicle out of the 20 or so I've owned.
I just finished my first long trip into Pennsylvania from NY (170 miles) this morning and it’s confirmed, the 600 is better in EVERY way compared to the 200. The seats, the overall comfort (less body fatigue) the radar cruise is absolutely fantastic, the mark levinson sound is clean, apple car play is wonderful…..I could go on but you get the point. WOW.

I have a friend who landed a low mileage 2021 LC200, and was looking longingly at it last week, when it dawned on me that it cost more than my base model LX600. Except for current aftermarket support, the LX is the better vehicle.

Could it be that that LX 600 is the best vehicle ever made? I guess longevity might come into play. Aren’t turbo smaller engines shorter life?

Ha ha. Yeah, sure feels like that, but Motortrend and all the rest are quite down on it, lack of gizmos, poorish-gas mileage, etc.
I saw a recent review that said "does it make sense? No! But I want one."

For my uses, it's ideal. Perfect mix of off road capability, reliability, quiet, comfort, speed, and efficiency.

I did notice that the in-town mileage really is only perhaps a mile per gallon better than my 570. I'm not sure how/why that is. I mean, they took out that nice V8 to gain an extra mile per gallon?
I thought giving up my V-8 would be the worst part about it, and to be honest I don’t even miss it

Yeah but I wonder about longevity. Giving up cubic inches for a minuscule gain in fuel economy doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.
1) my fuel economy improved after about 1000-2000 miles, suspect it may be programmed to run a little rich during break in
2) fuel economy really becomes apparent on the highway. I routinely hit 22-23mpg on long trips, with 24 possible if you stay around 60.
3) hard not to keep out of the skinny pedal around town, but I can get around 18 if I'm careful.

I am still waiting for a base model(on deposit) to pop up. The 600 will be for the Mrs., while I keep my 570. I appreciate the feedback, it makes it worth the wait!

Im in this same situation.

Taking over driving my wife's old LX570 and it looks like we're going to be picking up a LX600.

I hope its as reliable as our GX460 and LX570 for the long term.

Was debating buying a CPO 2020-21 Range Rover but it certainly wouldnt have been a car to hold onto for long term...

I know this is a Toyota forum, but absolutely don’t do it. Like @TexasHusker stated, you’ll regret it, as I have done it as well (back in 2006) and will NEVER do it again.
