In fairness, the Range Rover is a beautiful SUV - we all have to get it out our system sooner or later.
Thats where Im at.

I told my wife that if she wants one, it'll be comfy and beautiful but it will likely require more attention and $$$ to keep it comfy and beautiful LOL

So long as theres loaners, it wont be the end of the world I suppose but in all fairness, the brand spanking new LX would be a better overall purchase.

You will quickly tire of the experience, but I can't toss any stones, I did it myself. Your issues will be computer/electronics issues that disable the car or cause it not to run correctly, as well as very cheap, flimsy parts in the guts that cause catastrophic failures. You will also likely have suspension issues with the airbags. Mechanically, it's hard to know, because no one keeps them long enough.

We had a Range Rover Sport and absolutely loved it for a few weeks, until stuff started happening and lights began coming on. But the good news is, the LX 600 is every bit as sporty as the RRS, with Lexus reliability. But there was no such animal back in 2016.

Holy Shít….this EXACTLY!!!!

Feel the exact same way about a previous Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. Want a 392 rubicon so bad, but my last JLUR was in the shop at least once every three months for something electronic, or the rear defroster falling off, or a 18 month old vehicle rusting at the hinges.

My wife's 2019 GX hasn't given us the first problem. My 2020 Tacoma gets the sh!t beat out of it regularly and it's had one problem: the locker didn't work, later found out because the regearing guy didn't snuggly plug the electric port back in correctly.

And of course my Lx600 is at 23k miles with only some minor glitches (development of wind noise at the roof fittings, easy fix).

Still want a 392...but hating the problems I know will pop up.

I have a 392 Rubicon and it is amazing, I love that thing!

Meh. I’ve got about 8000 miles on the 600 and I still miss the 200
I have to say the 600 is better in 75% of the weather I drive in CO. The 200 series is 10x better in the snow for all the reasons everyone has said above, lighter and turbos. I slide all over the road in our 600 and I have the F sport with 20 inch Jaos wheels and BFG AT tires. I would have thought that they would have added a snow mode that shifts at a lower RPM and keeps better traction like my TRX…. We ski a ton up in the mountains and I am thinking about going back to a HE 200…. We shall see

It has a snow mode. Just got covered up in ice and snow as only the un-salted and un-plowed south can do, and my LX did great. Have Michelin LTX MS tires. Press the MTS button (multi terrain system), and rotate the knob all the way to the right, "deep snow."

It was perfect. Kept the initial acceleration under control, but allowed for a little wheel spin when needed.

That would have been great information for the dealer to tell me! I have not hit that button in a year of ownership!!! Thanks for the head up, we will see how it does…

i drove it today in snow mode in about 10 inches of snow and it was still all over the road. I just don’t understand why it slides so much more than the 200? it drives way better then the 200 in 90% of the conditions.

Change tires? Maybe a solution.
I have the same exact tires I had on my 200 series. BFG AT tires that worked great on the 200 in deep snow. I drove my TRX in it yesterday for comparison and the TRXwas WAY better in the snow than the LX…. I’m at a loss, don’t know what to do…. Still thinking about going back to the 200….

Yeah if those have the snowflake or mtn rating then that sucks. Glad there is no snow around here.

And that was with the MTS snow mode turned on?

don't know what to tell you. The road conditions below required me to work pretty hard to get the thing to slide around. (One photo is in my Tacoma, but you get the idea. Couldn't decide which pair of pants to wear, so I switched back and forth.)

Picked up a new LX600 today (no AHC). I like it much better than my 18 LX570. As noted in other comments, it is QUIET.
