How does ride quality compare?
It feels lighter and stiffer. I will have to take the 18 Land Cruiser out for a drive and see how it compares. The 600 ride w/o AHC is much more like the LC than the 570. The 570 always seemed to ride like a full size car from the 60's to me (cushy). The 600 w/o AHC does not feel that way to me. My wife thinks it rides like her 20 Discovery. I've never liked electronic power steering but the 600 does not have the vague road feel that some vehicles seem to have. Compared to the 570 steering, you could probably turn the steering wheel with your little finger (exaggerating a bit). I spend a lot of time on I-35 between OKC and Gainesville, TX and I am guessing that the 600 will make the drive much more enjoyable.

I just finished a 300+mile round trip between Sherman, Texas and OKC. I averaged just over 22 mpg heading south and just over 19 heading north (against a 20+mph wind) driving with cruise set at 80 mph. The best I could ever get in my 18 570 was 17 mpg, as an aside, my old 13 LC would sometimes get around 20 thought. My 18 LC never gets as good MPG as the 13 LC did. In my opinion, the 600 is better in every way than my 18 570. I just wish the 600 had a DVD player.
