I'm working on installing a custom relay box and bus bar under the hood of my GX to manage accessories (via OEM style switches). I know this is more work than a Switch Pros or Auxbeam equivalent, but I like the OEM-style look, reliability, and DIY-fixability of basic relays and switches.
Ideally this would be mounted in the open area between the OEM underhood fusebox and brake booster, However, there currently two electronic modules in this location. I am not sure of their function. I can design and build a metal mount that is above these modules, but it would be a lot easier to extend their wiring harnesses and mount them further back, in the open area between the brake booster and inner fenderwell.
I find it odd that both of these modules sit vertical and kind of apart from each other. Anyone know what these are, and is there any reason they can't be relocated? I can probably keep them vertical on the new mount. The outer one has some 10-ga wire going into it.
