Buckle up for another 80 series seat movement thread.

I picked up a new to me LX450 a couple weeks ago (never bet against the backslide!)

Immediately, by coincidence or not, the driver seat stopped moving very well. It was obviously the seat gears were stripped since it was twisting more than moving forward or back.

So I replaced the gears which I'd done before on another 80.

Now with the seat back in, it doesn't move right:
- Moves at 1/2 speed forward and maybe 1/4 speed backwards (compared to the PS seat)
- Moves in a surging sort of way
- It gets slower and stops moving eventually. Then if you wait a minute or five, it will move a lot again in the same manner
- It moves the entire range of motion
I actually took it back out, tore it all down to check I didn't mess up the new gears, and they look good. The seat also moves straight forward and back, not twisting.

Here's a video, moving forward, then back, until it stops and won't go anymore: New video by Eli Z - https://photos.app.goo.gl/RRzGVXL2fm1h49FQA

Anyone know what's going on here?

Check that the two seat tracks are exactly in the same position relatuve to each other. If one gets out of synch with the other, it binds up.

You can also, while it's upside down so that you can see what's going on, put 12V on the motor and watch the track move as you activate the switch.

I took care to make sure they are very close to even so I don't think that's it.
