Drain 3FE coolant or no (little hoses on top of thermostat housing)?

I want to put constant tension clamps on these two hoses near the top of the thermostat housing...and one is leaking anyway so I need to replace it.

1) Do I need to drain the coolant for this? If not, how much do you expect to come out?
2) What are the Toyota part numbers for these hoses & for the OEM clamps?

you didn't say what engine this is.
To find the hose part numbers, go to PartsSouk
It has all the drawings

McMaster Carr has the spring clamps you want.

Sorry, it's an FJ62, so 3FE.

Alright looks like:
4x clamps:

9046713001

2x of these hoses:

1626461010

Does anyone know if I'll need to drain all the coolant or if this point of the system is high enough that only a bit will drip out?

You'll only lose a bit. Replace one hose at a time, add a bit to your overflow bottle once you're done, and rinse the bit of spilled coolant away with some water (being careful not to splash any on the alternator).

Ah this is timely. I need to replace the same hoses on my 3FE and was wondering if you could just manage without a system drain. I did parts of the water pump housing less successfully.
