Tattle tell :p

Maybe a stopgap so I can get back on the trails. Something that would go back on the market as soon as Dozer's back in action. Plus, it's just damned cool!!

George's old rig is pretty cool, hope its still in the same condition as when he got rid of it.

That guys been trying to sell it for going on 4 years now.

Got a 72 fj40 frame here if you could use it. Already blasted / Rust Bullet covered.
Left you a voice message – give me a call when you get a chance. Just getting back from dropping the chassis off at the frame shop and Zebulon. Not sure what the outcome there is going to be, may have to go with the new frame after all. Just want to start weighing my options. Thanks!

Frame back from the frame shop for a few weeks now. Finding time to work on this thing has be challenging lately with some home improvements and other work / life stuff going on. Things look a LOT better now and I have been work on it a tad here and there. Finally got the front crossmember reinforced from the Saginaw mod today. Hoping to get the capture nuts in the frame replaced tomorrow (for the skid plate - need something beefier) as well as getting the front suspension finished and locked in for good.

Starting to clean up the frame now for paint. Managed to get all the M8 weenie welded nuts knocked loose inside the frame so I can weld in some M12's for skid plate mounting. I have a few more welding jobs to do on the chassis, as well as painting and installing the drivetrain. Then it's time to swap out the chassis for the tub (from my mom's house) and give the underside the much needed love. Still hoping to have her on the road by the end of June, but that' s lofty given I'll be fishing a week in June and we are already in May :(

Are you going to completely rebuild your skidplate or just modify it for m12 bolts?

Let me know if you have questions on the 2FE. Just did one. Parts are getting harder to find for them. IE the sensors on the therm housing.

Thanks for the offer man. 2FE is running well on the run stand. Since I'm using aftermarket EFI controller (MegaSquirt), I'm using a GM temp sensor in the housing - works well. This setup allows me to fully control timing and fuel tuning. Tedious, but really fun! Soon as I get the frame finished up and painted, drivetrain's going back in and then on to the tub rehab.

Looking good man, wish I was in the area to lend a hand on revision 2.

That makes 2 of us! BTW, give me a call when you aren't feeding / sleeping / working / rocking :D Wanted to talk to you about the pics you sent.

Hell yeah! Looking forward to seeing that 2fe in the engine bay :D

And thanks to your help, you did. Don't know how'd I'd ever get anything done to Dozer without JC since Ashcroft skipped town :D

Easy, I'll be back in due time I promise, it's all about laying the ground work at this point...just hope for the horrible school district to continue here in charleston county...

View attachment 902867 Didn't get to spray today b/c I found out the gun I have with a 1.4mm tip/nozzle won't work w/ Rust Bullet. Primer gun w/ 1.8mm tip is on the way and I'll be making some additions to the air setup to get drier air. Rust Bullet warns over and over about the water in the lines, so I want to make sure that's not going to be a problem. So, instead, I did this today:
