I knew that this was going to be a "slow" thread due the issue of getting money to pay for parts, but my story has a speed up:
My 2F engine at 238,000 miles is tired. Very tired. My symptom is blowby. ALOT of blowby out the valve cover PCV breather port.
My air filter is plugged with oil, the air cleaner is filled with oil, I have oil dripping down onto the cover, the manifolds, the distributor, etc, etc.
dougbert is wounded, but not dead.
So, after consulting with "jake" here in in heber, I will park my rig out at his "barn", where Alaska has been working as well as jake on the cruizer yard. I will then begin the disassembly of the 2F engine and will post items for sale in the classified ads area.
I have a Trollhole carb, less than a year old
ignition system
and a rebuilt head and rockers
6-1 header

With those sales, I can acquire some more SBC 350 parts (next is the cam) to continue the Vortec build
