Past few weeks, my rig has a new lock issue that I haven't seen mention of before.
When I use the door lock from either driver or passenger side, all doors lock and then immediately all unlock. With the truck off, keys out, pressing lock on the remote does successfully lock all doors and they stay locked.

Other threads seem to point to wire insulation being exposed - any better suggestions than pulling doors and looking for a stripped wire? Thanks!

Hadd this same problem on a 2001 LX, turned out to be a failing actuator. Don't think there's a way to fix it without removing the door panel. There are a number of threads detailing the procedure including links to inexpensivr actuators that are incredibly helpful. I started with the driver's door which fortunately turned out to be the one causing the problem so didn't have to deal with any of the other doors - excpet for the tailgate actuator whichhad failed but wasn't causing the odd behavior of the door locks.

I second that. My locks were acting funny when I had an actuator out. They acted even crazier while I was working on them (didn’t disconnect the battery). I did the actuator motor replacement. If you’re relatively handy, it’s easy.

Alrighty. I've actually got the new motors already, but was thinking this might be unrelated. Had been putting it off as the passenger front lock which had previously acted up seemed to be well behaved.
Looks like I'm cracking open some actuators. Hopefully that's my gremlin.
