I received an ebay back up master key today, programmed it with the steps mud members have provided, thank you!

After programming, successfully starting and locking via fob, I tested it in the three doors. Works in the passenger and rear door, but not the driver's door. So I tried my other keys, none of them work in the driver's door, apparently I've never tried it...

I have had the door panel apart to replace actuators, any chance I missed something that's causing it not to work?

Any troubleshooting guidance?

Thanks.
Ron

Lube. Lube. Lube the door lock. Lube everything that moves every 6mo including your door locks, latches, hinges, cables...I like to use bike chain lube, it is sticky but repeals dirt.
Stick the straw on the spray can inside the key lock cylinder and then work the key in the lock several times.
In the winter, keep a can of WD-40 in the house, when your door locks freeze, spray with the warm WD-40, the ice melts and it disperses the water.
Use the key in your door locks once a month, they need "exercise", same with your transfer case and diff lock(s)

Side note, DO NOT lube your ignition key cylinder.

Thanks, I'll give that a shot. The driver's door is the first thing I tried with the new key and thought the key was wrong...

That worked, I feel like an idiot.
We've all been there :) I try to remember to do things the old way sometimes. Too easy to forget and rely on modern niceties, but in the case of these machines, you can quite literally lose it if you don't use it.

You're welcome.
We've all been there done that at some point.

I like to KISS (keep it simple stupid) so I lube my latches etc. in January and then again in June, thats every 6mo and easy to remember...January...June...easy.
