$48 seems pricy... The set of 8 flanged bushings cost me about $12.

I agree I was shocked at the price. These are not that common size 3/8 x 5/16 is a very thin bushing maybe thats why. The problem of living in a small town. I tried looking on line and the only ones i found were from Boston Gear and they only sell through dealers according to what I read. I do think I got taken I failed to ask the price before I ordered.

The set I used were 5/16" x 7/16" Perhaps they are more common. I double checked, and even in our smalish town they wer $10+ tax for the set of 8.

They did require drilling the holes out to 7/16", which still left lots of thickess.

That bushing is a standard bushing you used a better choice if you dont mind drilling it out that big and I do t think it would make any difference withthe bigger hole. Wish I would have done that but now I have these so I am stuck. I am not going to ream these. What ever a 3/8 drill gives me is what I will use with some loc tite if necessary. The bushing od is .377 according to the catalog. I havent miced them yet though.

easy to install reasonable on price .

Unless you like spending time and wasting money, just get a set of LC69'S Hinges done over with !

Myself I would rather spend time doing the restoration and real Modifications .
