Does anyone know when the 2020 Heritage Edition will actually hit dealers?

I was thinking of going Durtrac 265/60/18. Do you think the difference in width will look too much like pizza cutters?

That will look small as well.. I've got a set of 265/65/18 on stock rims. They look skinny, sit inside the wheel well a lot more than 285s do, as well as there is a lot of void in the wheel wells height wise.

Did we get a definitive number on the offset of the bronze BBS wheels? Seems to me they are even more inset than stock landcruiser 18s.

So, if there's still some gasoline left, I should be able to buy one of these used around 2039...

60mm

I asked the installer who looked and said 60mm. I will verify tomorrow.

I know the numbers that were being tossed around were 56-60 which is factory spec.
I like the mileage I get with the 265s that are on the 200, but man do the RWs with KM3s make it look so much better and appropriate with width and stance

Especially since the spare on the HE is a stock rim, I couldn't imagine Toyota giving you a set of 4 wheels that are a different offset than your spare. At least not on the LC

I only asked because 08-15 was +60 with 16-20 non-HE being +54. Not much of a difference.. but I swear I can see it in how they sit.

Plus, I do have rock warriors that are +50 and between the half-inch of extra width and the taller sidewall allowing more bulge, they do a much better job of filling out the fender.

I REALLY want these BBS wheels to sit a half inch further out like my RWs.. but don't know of a good way of doing that.

Add H&R 5 mm Wheel spacers

They don't list an application for our trucks. Even then, you'd have to go through the effort of installing longer studs that couldn't be used without the spacer if it somehow gets lost or damaged due to our closed lug nuts.

IMO not a good solution. This is a big reason some people are installing much thicker spacers to make the BBS wheels look good, which then present their own problems.

Seemed really strange, I mean they certainly wouldn't look right on the copper/gold wheels.
My dealer thought the truck shipped from Japan with standard wheels and that the Bronze rims were installed in the US....not sure that’s true, but I figured I’d just list them for someone on this forum to have as a spare or replacement.

The HE is listed as a Port installed option. Mine didn't come with the standard center caps, either Toyota or the dealers must have gotten wise.

Not all of it is done at the port. The door skins are different to eliminate the rub strip mounting holes.

Also the darker front chrome, and front lights, colored stitching interior, black chrome starter button surround ring, third row delete, darker gauge surrounds and cool box delete. eat, etc, etc...

Agreed, the hub caps are a mystery. If it was just one I’d say for the spare..

The center caps are a mystery, there is likely some accuracy to the port installation theory.

They may come with the standard US wheel or even perhaps a shipping wheel similiar to what other manufacturers use.

For instance GMC Yukons and other GM trucks are shipped with big 18-20” solid black steel wheels and the Nice wheels arrive in parts to be added at the dealership.

The steel wheels have become very popular with the Chevy C10 builders!

Why go down in size? Thats a whole inch smaller in width and diameter.

I guess mainly because I have had such good luck with the Duratracs. High mileage, good tread in slick conditions, studs, and off-road. I like the KO's but the Duratracs have been good to me over the years on my 4 Runner and my Tundra.
