Does anyone know when the 2020 Heritage Edition will actually hit dealers?

Longtime listener, first time caller here (with a white HE ordered and arriving in early Nov.).

For the folks who have taken delivery of HEs, how would you compare the leather to the base model leather? It sounds like the HE does not have the base model’s semi-aniline leather. Do the HE hides seem to be thicker or less compliant? If so, I’m hoping for longer life and better wear on the HE upholstery. Thanks for the info.

Heritage. OEM spacer and 285/65 KO2s. Delete shopping cart from roof. It sits too high in the back although you can't tell here. I'll try to get a shot on level ground next time. Will likely add a rack and rock sliders. Tires made a huge difference.

This looks so good! That wheel/tire combo is perfect for your setup. Best looking HE I've seen yet.

*sigh* I love those wheels... Wonder if we'll ever see take-offs go up for sale?

You can order them in black or in bronze. Bronze might be hard to get for a while. Black is not. Could always powder coat.

I have the same question and thought I would share my observations. Own a 2010 with the standard leather in grey. Had a 2016 with the semi-aniline leather in terra. The semi leather is definitely softer. But the standard leather seems tougher and I am very happy with its wear after 9 years and 96k miles. I sold the 2016 because I was covering two living locations (Atlanta and Houston). Finally got the family to Houston and sold the Atlanta house. My wife hated the rear headrest tv screens and suggested departing with the 2016.
I have ordered a HE and will be happy with the standard leather. My 2010 is going the new family farm house. It is in perfect condition (original owner). House/barn designed and construction starting. Hope this helps.

My curiosity is piqued! Definitely going to do a bronze wheel (either stock or powder coated like you suggest) as I think it would look great with my blue onyx pearl. Guess it's just a matter of price/timing. How much do you suppose these wheels will be to order?

My guess is like everything else OEM, Toyota isn't going to let them go without taking an arm, a leg, or both. Heh.

Excellent point
Yes I am looking hard at this 275/65 18 PRO tire for the HE we have been discussing. Did Not know they were made in Oklahoma. I knew Michelin is headquartered in Greenville.

Black ones are $2500 for 4

Picked up on last Friday at Toyota of Santa Barbara. Way stoked !
Switched into 285/65/18 Nitto Terra Grappler G2's and took off the Yakima rack and will be going with a low profile full rack on top (still deciding what to go with, with the great community here I will look up info)
I am going to go the spacer route on the front for sure. That is just the start.

The Nitto's look great on those wheels.

Looks great. I put the same tires on my new LC. Same wheels but in black. Put spacers on both front and back. 2” lift. I went with the lightning bolts out instead. Such important life decisions.

FYI, you can remove the headrest TV screens in 5 minutes and install the covers that @TrekboxX sells. I did. It’s cheaper than getting a new LC!

Yes I missed that easy fix. Not sure when it came out from Trekboxx but I missed. 2016 is gone.

I think this is much to do about nothing. The LX has had a “Heritage” Edition for a year or so. No cool box. No semi-aniline leather. No third row, etc. (which ironically costs less than a HE). No one has complained about these being uncomfortable etc. anywhere that I’ve heard.

Spacer over the front coils to lift it a little. Just trying to bring it closer to level. I don't want to lift the rear and in fact would like to lower the rear a little and keep the factory ride. I will ask Eric if that can be done.
Yes, we’ll get the OE spacers and post part #s and pricing.

Thanks. Do you think you need any computer/speedometer recalibration going to the slightly larger tires?
Won’t need to recalibrate the speedo. <=1 mph difference. You can get a Yellerbox for about $100 if it really bothered you. It’s a 2-wire setup.

a few options for bronze wheels:
$600/each for OE Heritage BBS
$300 each for Stealth Custom Series Ray 10s
$275 each for Icon Rebounds
Powder coat any 5x150 bolt pattern wheel. $125 each wheel.
