Does anyone know when the 2020 Heritage Edition will actually hit dealers?

Even non Pearl white would have been ok!

I have a white one arriving in Indianapolis aprox 10/31 available. All my pre-sales are black, I was hoping I could change it but it's too late. If anyone wants it, please IM me.

My black heritage has been at port since September 4th (actual date of arrival). No updates on transportation to dealer as of yesterday. Still hoping to drive it by late September.

When can I order a set of blacked out headlamps to retrofit into my 2017 model?

Seeing as the standard chrome ones list for about $1700/side you better REALLY want blacked out headlamps..

That said, I don't have the 2019 numbers yet to check availability and cost on the black ones.

Figures. Maybe I'll go the cheaper route as others have posted and doing it aftermarket. Think the whole "baked in the oven, opened up, painted, and re-sealed" method is reliable long-term?

The problem is if it isn’t, you get water in a very expensive headlight assembly.

There are companies that will do it for you and one would hope their experience means more reliable reassembly. Maybe look one of those guys up. I know someone posted in this forum their white late-model 200 that was built as a mall crawler specifically.. they did a ton of carbon fiber trim pieces and blacked out the headlights. It’s been a while so maybe you could get some feedback from them. It looked bad ass overall.

I can't speak to the 200 series, but I converted my last 100 series headlights to bi-xenon. I gently heated the assembly in the oven, removed the lens, did the conversion and reassembled. I resealed the lens with mastic from a roll from The Retrofit Source, and it was sealed well and properly. Like anything else, it is doable if you take your time. There are great sources of how-to information online, and places like TRS make finding the parts/supplies convenient. Just don't let your wife catch you baking headlights, it leads to some awkward moments. Trust me on that one.

I used Lightwerkz previously for a blackout... had a malfunction light come on shortly after the build was done. They did not own up, would highly not recommend them. Price was reasonable if performed correctly. I think $550 + shipping back... + $200 shipping to them so $750 all in...

I have one that is already ordered with a hold date of 9/20/2019. So if it gets released as it says(sometimes it doesnt) so it should be at our dealership by the end of September.

To answer the original question on the thread: Oct 1st. mine will be on the ground. West coast will probably see them any day now.

I saw a blizzard Pearl 2020 heritage edition at Stadium Toyota in Tampa FL yesterday. Had roof rack attached, same as pic above.

It looked good but I prefer my “standard” 2016 LC. I don’t like the black out, and I prefer the looks of the standard wheels. The badges would look better on the fenders instead of the back corners IMO.

But to answer the OP, it looks like they are arriving in dealerships now.

I wonder if Toyota will release a separate part # for the rear Heritage emblems? I like the classic look they provide.
