I've got 212k on my original, s/c added @ 150k. No signs of failure, just had my cooling system pressure tested and it was perfect.

I assume a leaking HG would show up on a pressure test, can someone confirm?

at the begening manybe not, are you looing any coolant? if no then you HG is likely OK.

168k, 2 HG's. blah The first one didn't blow, but was replaced when something else broke and require the engine to be rebuilt at 124k. The second one was put in at 148k when it blew externally.

I bought mine with about 154k & a new cooling system. I have no proof but I believe the engine was rebuilt as it has alot of power (for a behemoth)and is very very clean.
