Keep us postedThe Tech forum says Magnaflow seems to be the way to go. Mates right up with the stock manifolds, so I think that's what I'll do. They aren't terribly expensive, so worth a shot, I suppose.
It will be here in 2 days, will let you know.Keep us posted
You need to take your Cruiser over to Carolina Muffler and see if they can help.I sat for the HAM radio exam over the weekend, so I had to miss the HAMOM... Studied all day Saturday and passed with flying colors on Sunday. For kicks, I took the General Exam after passing the Technician. Man... That did not go so well! In any case, I'll be in Florida next weekend visiting my parents and in-laws. FIL is contemplating surgery soand I are going to his doctor's appointment Monday afternoon.
The 80 is with Glenn at LexTech. Looks like the donuts blew out again and the Y-Pipe has a busted flange. Will see if the guys at MasterBend will take another stab at it, but I might be looking at another Y-Pipe. OEM is $2409, so I'll check in to aftermarket - maybe Magnaflow?
They must be pretty good because Glenn and @ErikinSC (I think?) recommended them as well. If it weren't for the welding that might be required, I'd unbolt the old one and attempt it myself...You need to take your Cruiser over to Carolina Muffler and see if they can help.
