we usually start about 9, but I'll be out there earlier

I got a call today. I have a mechanic that I can bring with me tomorrow, if necessary (NSFW)

sure, bring him, since you're not going to G'ville

Looked like a good turn out today; sorry that I didn't make it out. Got a late start on the morning and opted to wrench at the house (needed to borrow stuff from a neighbor so it probably made sense to work at home). Anyway, got the sliders on and the swing outs for the rear bumper:

Nice! Looks like one of @lcwizard 's bumpers. I have been very happy with mine... but would have been happier if I waited a bit longer and gotten the 45 qt Yeti cooler basket.

Good eye; is indeed a 4Plus bumper.

Had a great time at the HAMOM today! Thanks so much for Dbenke helping me change my belts on the Tacoma... or letting me turn a bolt while he did most of the work:) I really appreciate the help. I would never have had the confidence or expertise to do it by myself! I'm sorry I had to leave early but we had to have family beach pictures taken and Laney would hardly even smile!!! We leave for Kitty Hawk tomorrow morning for the week. Maybe we'll do some wheeling in the Jeep on the beach. Anyone had any experience off-roading in the Outer Banks???

where's the (one) wheelin' vid?

Really wondering how Rick's tranny is doing.

Wish I could have made it. I decided to take the family to the mountains at the last minute since we weren't able to plan a family vacation this year. That really bothered me, so an opportunity presented itself to clear my schedule to take the kids to sliding rock, whitewater rafting, Tweetsie Railroad, hiking and of course, let the wife shop.

Sorry I'm so slack on checking in! I had a great time and really appreciate all the help support and knowledge of the crew! Well after about 50miles of driving, knock on wood, my tranny may hold up! Slight shutter when accelerating but that seems to be getting better. Up shifts and down shifts when she's supposed to. Granted I am taking it really easy on the ole girl and I just added a little Lucas to it. I'll flush it out again in a couple hundred miles...
Now back to the original repair list!
Thanks again and look forward to seeing everyone soon.
PS- when should we schedule the group photo shoot?

That would be great, I should have it running this weekend

Sounds like it was a productive HAMOM! Sorry I couldn't make it y'all. Do we have an August one scheduled?

Benke, you have an El Camino? What year?
