I'll be working on it this weekend.

Next HAMOM is scheduled for Aug 22. I hope to have mine done by then, but I have some other cars to work on also, so I'm not sure.

Sounds good. I'm in to help and could use advice on a couple of small items if not fixed by then...

I'll be helping my daughter move in this weekend as school is starting back, so I'll be out of town and won't make the HAMOM on Saturday. Am I reading the schedule right, no HAMOMs in September nor October?

Not necessarily, we can have one whenever, but I think this weekend is out.
I will be out there changing oil in something (I have 4 to do), if someone needs something, call me or post up and we can work something out.

I wish I could make it... Last minute change of schedule... I need to sort out my power windows on the passenger side. Think there is a short... Maybe September will work for me! FYI after 1000 miles I drained and refilled my transmission again with Synthetic plus more Lucas... Shutter at launch is almost completely gone and now shifts the way it is supposed to... Before the change, it was in 3rd gear before 20mph...
Thanks again fro everyones help last month!

Maybe we can schedule the group photo in September... Maybe a drone shot with the marsh in the background...

I'm out for today as well ⚓️ but still need to change out my inner CV boot. We can either pick another weekend this month or plan on next Month. Either way we should have it the before Logan's run so everyone can get any last minute items in.

Cheers,
Vitelli

I'm good for next weekend! If so I would like to swap out my bad brake booster for a 4runner booster...
Maybe we can shoot the club photo next Sunday?
When is Logan's run? How far away is it? Good adventure for kids?
Thanks

I sat for the HAM radio exam over the weekend, so I had to miss the HAMOM... Studied all day Saturday and passed with flying colors on Sunday. For kicks, I took the General Exam after passing the Technician. Man... That did not go so well! In any case, I'll be in Florida next weekend visiting my parents and in-laws. FIL is contemplating surgery so :princess: and I are going to his doctor's appointment Monday afternoon.

The 80 is with Glenn at LexTech. Looks like the donuts blew out again and the Y-Pipe has a busted flange. Will see if the guys at MasterBend will take another stab at it, but I might be looking at another Y-Pipe. OEM is $2409, so I'll check in to aftermarket - maybe Magnaflow?

ouch...I wouldn't pay that much for the entire exhaust, much less a single pipe !!!
check with cruiserparts.net ,they might be able to help you out.
or try beno

The Tech forum says Magnaflow seems to be the way to go. Mates right up with the stock manifolds, so I think that's what I'll do. They aren't terribly expensive, so worth a shot, I suppose.

Keep us posted

We can fix it in time for Logan's Run....??? !!!!

Logan's Run is a long shot... Work stuff going on around the same time.

You need to take your Cruiser over to Carolina Muffler and see if they can help.

They must be pretty good because Glenn and @ErikinSC (I think?) recommended them as well. If it weren't for the welding that might be required, I'd unbolt the old one and attempt it myself...

unbolt it and bring it over...we'll fix it.
that's what I did to mine.

I have to go to Florida this weekend, how about next weekend? Sept 4th is my birthday - I can bring you some cake or something! HA!

thats fine, just give me a call
