Yes OE 20s powdered coated satin black.
Not much weight difference in the split spoke 20s I took off.
I think 20s look right on these big girls. Plus great tire size choices.

I love the tires. I am going to run them on my 100 series as well.
They are smooth and so so quiet.

I can't speak to off-roading prowess, but on the highway in slush/ice/wet, my Nokian Rotiiva AT+ are astonishingly good compared to previous all-weather and siped AT tires. 275/70-18. My 2.5-hour run around the bottom of Lake Michigan sometimes turns into 8-hours battling weather to get home, I've done it on a lot of different tires over 30 years, four Land Cruisers and a 4Runner. Mileage with these tires and bull-bar is not great, I don't bother calculating it. I do leave earlier and go a bit slower to save money and sanity. I see accidents and flat tires every trip to work, I feel bad for them, better tires for the conditions certainly help avoid being them.
I'll run about 50mph on ice and slush with these. Crossing lanes through slush is weirdly stable, not sure if the 200 has such good stability control, or the tires are that good. I don't care what they do to my mileage, they have made driving so much less drama, they are worth their weight in gold.
If you are prioritizing mileage, and hydroplaning, and winter driving, these will probably make you happy.
Getting ready to leave O'Hare this winter, 175 miles to home.
I'll run about 50mph on ice and slush with these. Crossing lanes through slush is weirdly stable, not sure if the 200 has such good stability control, or the tires are that good. I don't care what they do to my mileage, they have made driving so much less drama, they are worth their weight in gold.
If you are prioritizing mileage, and hydroplaning, and winter driving, these will probably make you happy.

I love these Outposts...
Have about 4k miles on them and no issues.
Discount failed at balancing a few times. I took to a guy I knew and very little weight I think maybe 1.25 max on one wheel all below P Metric road force numbers. One tire only needed .25oz
Once the 295/70R18s are back they are going on 99LC

Thanks for the update. Glad to hear they are working well. Nokian is also going to have size lt285/75r17 available in the near future. They couldnt offer a timeline but hopefully by the end of the year they said. I am seriously considering this for my next tire.

Totally digging this thread since what I'm looking for in a tire is the same as @Itsky . Just purchased Rock Warriors for a 17" winter setup. I'd come down to the Nokian Outpost AT vs. the Toyo AT3's, but I really do think I'd go with the Nokians if I knew which exact size to go with and found a place to get them. Discount Tire and my local shop (who has spacers) have the AT3's in stock, but DT called their Nokian rep and said definitely no stock for the Outposts. SimpleTire lists so many sizes of the Outpost ATs that it's making my head spin.

YES, the number of plies in the sidewall represent the actually # of plies!
Tread plies is different story.

So I finally made a decision, I went with the Michelin Defender LTX 285/70/17 load E. Five of them.
They are absolutely divine. Been testing them for a month, only road driving with plenty of rain. They ride unbelievably good, road noise is gone, perfectly smooth, I can literally drive 75 on the highway for long amounts of time no handed. These might be the best “mod” I’ve done to any truck, and I’ve done a lot. My Land Cruiser has never ridden better, I can’t imAgine a better riding, handing tire on road. It’s that good.
One of the toughest requirements I started this thread with was improved range, I wanted 350-380 miles (up from my previous of 320). This past Saturday I filled up (87 Costco) and drove from home to Carmel and half way back, the stats were: Miles: 347.445, Gallons: 18.97, MPG: 18.32. So, if I ran it to empty that would be 439 miles.
I’m pumped.
Winter is upon us here and we have skiing planned, so the next test will be snow. Some camping and off road exploring will come in spring.
If anyone is following along, and on the fence, just go get the Michelins. Don’t worry about the load range e being a poor ride. Oh, and they look amazing.

My only mods are:
OME Suspension 2" medium front 2721 rear
Rock Warriors with Michelins
ARB drawers
ARB dual compressor on slee mount and secondary fuse box
so I'm about stock weight. 38 PSI. Haven't tried anything else yet, but seems spot on. I liked 38-40 with my same size BFG.
I wish I'd measured the height of my BFGs in the same size, these new michelins look taller/bigger in person. They measure 32-32.25 under the truck's weight.
