My cruiser is running rough. I have gone through all my ignition components. One thing I have not figured out is if my coil is suppose to see two different voltages - one while I am cranking the engine over and then another after I return the key to the RUN position after it is started. ??
Am I right here, or does the coil always see just over 12 volts and the internal (or external) ballast restrict the voltage after the engine is warmed up?
