@benc Is this talk about you making sliders serious? I just pulled my running boards off today and will be in market sometime with in the next few months.
It is, but im not sure if when yet.
Hopfully soon.

@benc Do you have a timeline on the sliders? I would like to see a frame mount that doesn't protrude below the frame like the Cruising Offroad version. A u-shape with the bolt only at the top.
Not sure on a timeline yet but the plan is to keep them as smooth as possible along the bottom!
I have seen people get hung up pretty bad with the ubolt style clamps, the u clamp style is much better in that aspect but will take some engineering to make it as strong.

Ok, I will be on standby. Wouldn't mind getting on that list, especially if the sliders match the quality of your bumpers!

Very interested in seeing your sliders. I haven't purchased any yet and they are next on my list. Please keep us posted on their progress.

But isn't aluminum grabby on stuff like rocks and rough terrain? I though steel is suppose to sliiiide, hence the name "sliders".

Would love to buy a full set of Aluminum skids from you. Hurry please!

Correct, aluminum skids and steel sliders.
Are aluminum skids good on a rock crawler? Probably not, good on an expo rig? Absolutely!
Gotcha. Well, I'll be in the market for both.

x2 I don't mind sacrificing some strength on the belly if it's going to save me good weight/money can't wait to see what benc comes up with

Weight, it will save, money, not so much :)

DElrin sklid...?

like just like a skatebord rail...??

No noise, no rust, they are slippery and last forever

Delrin is strong but likley to brittle, uhmw is what is typically use for skids but still requires some backing.
I have considered using pieces of uhmw bolted to sliders and skids in the areas that see the most contact but it can get pretty pricey.
