Disk brake conversion

I am doing a disk brake conversion on my 70 FJ40 using a 84 mini truck setup.


Question:

1. Do I buy the knuckle rebuild for for the mini knuckles?
2. Do I need to buy the inner oil seal for the Fj40 or is it the same as the mini?

Yep.

Yep.


Call Marlin and get his inner axle seals....if not everything from him.

call kurt at cruiseroutfitters. he can supply you with everything you need. Also, you may want to look at upgrading the rotors and calipers. I believe you can pick up vented rotors for a FJ60 and 4 piston calipers from a 4 runner. There are lots of posts on this subject if you want to search for them.

If it is for the knuckle or anything attached to it, buy for the mini. If it's for the axle housing, buy for the LC.
