That tank that 87Cruzr installed in the pic above is for a 60 as it has no recess for the in tank fuel pump. The
pic of my tank is for a 62 for the in tank fuel pump. I think that answers the initial question as to the primary differences
between the two tanks.
It is a steel tank, I think I'll take the bathroom scale out and weigh it. I'll post that up. The pick up box in the bottom of the
tank is big enough and I think that all fuel should be usable. Here is a pic of the internal pick up area for the fuel screen to fit.
You can see the magnet the previous owner left in. I expect it will live there for me too.
I noticed that on the RH side you can see the bottom of the sending unit. I'm lucky this has been figured out for me, it seems to be within 1/2' of the floor of the tank. I think E will mean E
