Ross and Bruce Miller.Funny story here - please correct me if you know anything different, but I believe the driver of this 1994 6M1 FZJ-80 is Ross from Colorado, and I am drawing a blank on his last name. His father's name was Bruce, and I think they were both members of Rising Sun.
Anyway, a few years after this memorable ride up Hell's Gate near Moab, Ross decided to sell his 1FZ-FE engine and automatic transmission, and replace it with a turbo diesel Toyota engine and manual 5-speed transmission. I bought the drivetrain from him and it's been patiently waiting in my garage until I need it. I did harvest an A/C compressor from the engine when my original one died last summer.
This is Bruce Miller's 60 that Mark Whatley in Alaska built. Newly christened in Moab.Ross and Bruce Miller.
Thanks Vince - that's their last name. It sure wasn't coming to me.Ross and Bruce Miller.
I thought those rocks looked very socorro’ishI know that guy and that truck!
I am remembering maybe Gordy’s Hill area down by Socorro. Maybe that was a day that Robbie Antonson joined us?
The truck was riding on Wrangler MTRs and probably still 33 inch tires at that point. Good articulation!
Thanks Juane!
