1998 Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ105 powered by 1HZ engine paired to with 5 speed manual transmission. GCC Spec.

*** the V8 emblem was installed by mistake & I forgot to remove it***

UPDATE. the 3rd gear is not engaging properly and it's making a noise. I'm not sure what happened and it was damage in freight or in Dubai before exporting. It might need a new trans or something else. I don't the time or willing to put more money into this cruiser. Selling it as is.

I was asking $34k or best offer but now at $26K as is and I'll help with sourcing a trans.

It has 453K Kilometers which is roughly 281K Miles.
Factory AC & Heat

Most parts below are genuine Toyota parts beside a few we have to purchase aftermarket.

Chassis and Body

The chassis was sandblasted and cleaned then painted (beside engine bay). No Rust or re-welds on the chassis and panels.
The body was scraped and cleaned to bare metal and repainted using the original Toyota paint code. Overall the paint job is good with a few spots that has overspray or not 100% preped,
There are a couple of paint scratches/blemishes caused by shipping process.

No rust on the body or the chassis

This cruiser was damaged by the hauler in the UAE and slightly bend in where the hood meets the fender. The hood and left fender were replaced with used Toyota parts. We didn’t want to use bondo or mend the metal.

Most of the weather stripping and rubber seals on the front windshield, rear glass, doors, and side windows was replace with genuine Toyota parts (see attached pix and receipts). On seals and rubber are the original ones that came with the car.

All badges, decals, and other accessories were replaced with genuine Toyota parts

Aftermarket front and rear bumpers plus grill

Windows & Glass
All windows and glass is fine and no damages
Side mirrors garnish were repacked

Engine
The engine runs very strong and was pressed tested by a local mechanic. It looks like at some point, the engine was replaced with an JDM 1HZ and the timing belt was replaced at 150K kms and 250k kms and just a few months back before importing. I have a 98 that also came from UAE. Looking at the pictures in the drop box, looks like mine is very similar, except mine has no roof rack, and non-chrome door handles and mirror housing. I also noticed that your center console lid has cup holders on top, whereas mine is solid.

I couldn't help but notice that the dash is beige color instead of grey like the rest of the interior.

Another similarity...

Last week changing the oil and filter for the first time since I purchased it last year.

Your oil pan/drain plug has been modified the same as mine. Your oil pan -

And here's my drain plug, next to the correct Toyota drain plug -

They took a larger bolt (my biggest metric socket is 19mm, and it was too small), cut it short, and re-tapped the oil pan drain hole.

Why, I don't know??? Gorilla oil and lube techs in UAE stripping the threads?

I just ordered a new oil pan and all the hardware for it.
