These trucks are an incredibly niche market. I realize not everyone in this thread has been difficult, but lets all make sure to give new vendors a legitimate chance. Anyone who is willing to take on the (likely very low-margin) task of giving this vehicle aftermarket support needs to be well received in our community. Options are good, and as 80 series owners, we do not have very many. Give them a chance.

I, for one, am very excited about the potential center-console option from the other thread. I wish you all the best of luck and I look forward to seeing what the future holds!

We design all our own products for off-road rigs and can even build custom rigs (preferably involving diesel).

As an owner of an iron pig thats been a 4bt swap frame off resto in the works for waaaaaaay to long, and the proud new owner of a HDJ81, It brings tears to the eye.

I'll be keeping an eye out to see what you guys are able to come up with. Who knows, whenever my wife calms down enough from the HDJ81 purchase for me to explain to her my plans for a 60 series body on an fzj80 frame with a 6bt in it, as soon as I regain consciousness from her reaction, I may be giving you guys a call

All in due time good sir. Website is lower on the totem pole as we are currently doing a diesel conversion in an FJ for Overland Expo. Needs to be up and running in 2.5 weeks. That is priority #1 at the moment.



There is now! This is the above mentioned 80 getting a frame off rebuild and Cummins 2.8L conversion. Will be starting a thread on that build shortly.

Yes, we are developing a bunch of products for the conversion rig we are currently building. Front bumper, rear bumper (with modular swing outs), rock sliders, Cummins 2.8L conversion kit, center console, rear panhard drop bracket, radius arms that can be/are made for each inch of lift (I.E., you will order a 2" version if you have OME springs or you will order the 5" version if you have SLEE springs, etc, NO MORE OFFSET BUSHINGS you can use stock Toyota bushings), front bump can mounts/spring spacers built around ICON bump cans (we are dealer for ICON), more overhead storage options, potentially a modular roof rack and a nice low profile ladder system, dual battery setup that will be based on the Cummins swap (won't be designed to work with the stock engine because this is more of a reaction to moving radiators, etc), then performance stuff for the Cummins. We have A LOT of experience with Cummins engines and A LOT of long-standing relationships with the diesel industry. One of our goals is to be THE spot to go for improving performance of your Cummins 2.8 (fuel/ecomony enhancements, twin turbo kits, intercooler kits, etc). Any of that sound interesting?

I never saw that contraption to lift off the body the times I was by the shop.

Interestingly, I built something very similar to lift an FJ62 body when I was building an FJ142. I was able to adjust the height easily though in the contraption I built. Very similar though as it bolted to the body mounts and came out the doors for lifting.

Much better with a lift but no reason to let not having a lift stop you!

I got some interesting things in the works myself, I will stop by the shop next week.

The Rack (FJ80 Ceiling Storage Rack (CSR)) is quite different product from the Brackets (FJ80 Ceiling Storage Brackets).

The Rack is a one piece, all inclusive part that you don’t need ANYTHING else for. It attaches to the 3rd row seat handle mounts with the 3rd row seat handle hardware that you hold on to when removing the handles. It has a form fitting “bulkhead” to keep stuff from going forward and a 1” lip on the backside to keep things from sliding out the back.

The Brackets are just the Brackets. You have to source your own shelf to attach to the brackets, but they DO come with all the hardware you need to attach a wire type shelf. This setup is completely up to you as far as front/rear stops/bulkheads/etc.
